The Tennessee Walking Horse is well known
for its gentle and willing nature as well
as for its versatility. A healthy horse with
good conformation is perfectly capable
of doing rail classes and then some jumping,
barrel racing, pole bending, driving,
as well as side saddle. I have spent
the last 20 years with my sons and
many "part time kids" proving how
easy they are to train. We have started many young
fillies and colts and gone to
shows, parades and other activities
the different associations put on.

My name is Rosemary Jordan, and I have been playing
with Tennessee Walkers for about 20 years.
I have found my horses such a joy to train that
I cannot say that it is work. It is just a joy to go
from skill to skill with such willing partners.
